The practice operates across three separate sites and it is a condition of joining the practice that you are willing to attend the different surgeries. If it is not possible to comply with this, we would respectfully ask patients to register with another practice in the local area.
For your convenience we offer both phone and face to face appointments. If you have a minor query that could be dealt with over the phone and will not require the doctor to see you, then book a phone appointment.
If we cannot provide you with an appointment time to suit you or with a doctor of your choice, we ask you to be understanding and not to make unreasonable demands on the reception staff.
The practice operates a fully computerised appointment system. You can make an appointment by either calling at or phoning any of the surgeries during working hours. Please note that all phone calls are recorded for training and security purposes.
Appointments are made at given intervals and we endeavour to keep to the appointed times. However, you will appreciate that sometimes the doctor is called to an emergency or needs to spend more than the allocated time with one particular patient.

Home visits
It is clinically better for you to be seen at the surgery where we have better facilities, diagnostic aids and lighting to assess you.
Home visits are for housebound patients and for those too ill to attend the surgery. Home visits are not for those who do not have transport.
If you need a home visit please contact the surgery before 10am and give one of our receptionists details to enable the doctor to judge whether a home visit is appropriate and the urgency of your needs.
You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
