Flu vaccination clinics will be available across all three surgeries

When will clinics start?

From 1st September 2026

Some people, including anyone who is pregnant, can get vaccinated from this date.

From 1st October 2026

Most other eligible patients, can get vaccinated from this date.

Who is eligible for a Free NHS Flu Vaccination

You may be eligible if you:

• Are aged 65 years or over (including those who will turn 65 by 31st March 2027)
• Are aged 18 to 64 years and have certain long-term health conditions
• Are pregnant
• Live in a care home
• Are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive Carer’s Allowance
• Live with someone who has a weakened immune system
• Are experiencing homelessness or staying in a homeless hostel or night shelter

Booking your appointment

Eligible patients will soon be invited to book their flu vaccination appointment.

You will be contacted using your preferred method of communication recorded on your medical record, either by:

• SMS text message with a booking link
• Invitation letter
• Telephone call
