We have been informed that there is a temporary national shortage of blood test bottles due to a manufacturing problem. This is out of our control and we are being guided by national and local guidance. For the next 3 months we have been asked to prioritise what bloods we can do as a Practice and this will mean that unfortunately, some routine blood test for, such as, Annual Reviews/NHS Health Checks may have to be postponed to ensure that we can use what supply of blood bottles we have for patients with the highest risk needing blood tests. Please note that routine tests will only be deferred if clinically safe to do so. You do not need to contact the Practice if there is a change to your appointment we will be in touch.
