The practice nurses are available for appointments daily at all three surgeries. Please telephone to arrange suitable appointments.

The practice nurses are fully qualified to carry out:-

• Health Promotion – Well Person checks
• Blood Pressure checks and the taking of blood samples
• Immunisations for adult travellers and advice on precautions when abroad
• Cervical smears and breast examination
• Dressing and removal of sutures
• Ear syringing and dietary advice
• Childhood immunisations

Our nurses also review and update repeat medications, provide a full family-planning service and run clinics for asthma and smoking cessation.

Our healthcare assistants and phlebotomist provide support and assistance to the clinical team by dealing with patients requiring new patient checks, routine blood tests and blood pressure monitoring, NHS health checks etc.
